Vietnam stock market index ends down

Vietnam's stock market index, VN- Index, closed at 446.79 points on Wednesday, down 0.84 points, or 0.19 percent, against the previous trading day.
A total of 32.75 million shares worth 1.22 trillion Vietnamese dongs (VND) (68.52 million US dollars) changed hands at the Ho Chi Minh City Stock Exchange. Prices of 62 stocks went up, 71 dropped while 33 remained unchanged.
HASTC-Index, the index of Vietnam's Hanoi Securities Trading Center, where unlisted stocks of firms, mainly small and medium- sized ones are traded, went down 1.42 points, or 0.94 percent, to 149.26 points.
